Bay Area Backsides by Sarah Curtiss, aka Butt-erfly
I was trying to capture the essence of the locals of various neighborhoods in San Francisco and found it much easier to take pictures of peoples’ backsides than their frontsides: Bay Area Backsides is Born. Seldom do the people I photograph notice me. However, I often receive questioning looks from those who see me leap from a casual slouch into action to capture someone else’s promising backside sauntering past. Now you know.
